[G]Well once I was a sword, many years ago

[G]Well once I was a daisy, many years ago
[G]In pastures green and lazy, many years ago
[D]But I was [G]eat by a go[D]at who fe[G]ll in a moat
[D]And forgetting to f[G]loat he [D]sunk like a [G]lead and sta[D]yed until dea[G]d
And was relieved to f[D]ind [D(sus4)]

[G]Well once I was a grub, many years ago
[G]And I lived among that mud , many years ago

I shed my s[D]kins[D(sus4)]

[D]Well, once I was a bullfrog, had to [G]struggle for survival
[D]And once I was a carp and lived in w[G]aters on the meadow
