I'm surprised no one was able to figure out this song.
It's pretty easy if you know the basics of playing
Offspring material or any punk for that matter.
The intro is the simplest I've seen by the Offspring
(I didn't tab the strings you don't need)
Intro
Preverse/1st Verse- play that last G very quickly, almost like a ghost chord
Prechorus- kinda like the intro only palm muted and each chord
hit eight times. Also, at the end of the third time playing, end
with the second part over here
p.m.[...............................] [.................]
Chorus- exactly like the intro only you hit each chord approx.
(and since I`m a lazy piece of crp I decided not to tab it)
2nd Verse- exactly like the 1st Verse
2nd Prechorus- the same as the 1st
Chorus played twice
3rd Verse ' goes like this
3rd Prechorus ' the same as the 3rd verse except after the
8th and 10th (F and G) fret power chords hold the D chord rather than
sliding to the C, you play this after
the 1st time and this after the second time, so it should
look like this:
Chorus
Solo- After two years (I tabbed this two years ago. . .)I
finally got the solo! CHA-CHING!
and end on a nice big D chord:
e[--10--]
b[--10--]
g[--11--]
d[--12--]
a[--12--]
e[--10--]
Lyrics- Intro-Nothing changes cuz its all the same,
The world you get's the one you give away,
It all just happens again way down the line
Verse-1-There is a chain that's never broken.
You know the story its sad but true.
Prechorus-An angry man gets drunk beats his kids,
The same old way his druken father did,
What comes around, well, it goes around!
Chorus-Nothing changes cuz its all the same,
The world you get's the one you give away,
It all just happens again way down the line.
Verse-2-At 17 Shannon is pregnant,
As young as her mom when she had her.
Prechorus-The kid is never gonna have a dad,
The same old way Shannon never had,
What comes around, well, it goes around!
Chorus-Nothing changes cuz its all the same,
The world you get's the one you give away,
It all just happens again way down the line,
And all the things you learned when you were a kid,
You'll up just like your parents did,
It all just happens again way down the line.
Verse-3-And welfare moms have kids on welfare,
And fat parents have fat kids too!
Prechorus-You know it's never gonna end,
The same old cycle's gonna start again,
What comes around, well, it goes around!
Chorus-Nothing changes cuz it's all the same,
The world you get's the one you give away,
It all just happens again way down the line,
And all the things you learn when you're a kid,
You'll up just like your parents did,
It all just happens again way down the line
Anyway, this is a pretty fast song so try to keep up and if
your good enough you can brag about how you can play just
like the World's Greatest Guitarist, NOODLES!
