And let it fade; at this point, a guitar (I believe it's a different
guitar) plays something I'm not exactly sure about, with some cool
string bending. It sounds sort of like this:

Let me explain this; first of all, let the note sustains the whole
8-count. Play this by placing your ring finger on the 16th fret and
beginning in bent position so that the tone of the 17th fret sounds,
then slowly and steadily release the string so that the 16th fret
sounds. Then quickly slide up to the 19th fret with the ring finger
and slowly bend the string up to the 22nd fret, then release it to
the 19th again. All this should be done with mild distortion and
the rhythm pickup (neck pickup for all you non-LPers) on.

Then play the clean and distorted parts again and end on the D/B
power chord.
