Intro: C Dm F G
A l[C]ittle boy of thirteen was [Em]on his way to school
He [Am7]heard a crowd of [G]people laughing and he w[F]ent to take a look[G]
T[C]housands were listening to the s[Em7]tories of one man
He s[Am7]poke with such w[G]isdom, even the k[F]ids could understand
The h[Bb]ours passed so quickly, the [Am7]day turned into night
[Fm]Everyone was hungry but there was [G]no food in sight
The b[C]oy looked in his lunchbox at the [Em7]little that he had
He wasn't s[Am7]ure what good it'd [G]do,
there were t[F]housands to be [Fm]fed
But he saw the t[Am7]winkling eyes of Jesus,
The [Em7]kindness in His sm[Am]ile
And the [Bb]boy cried out with the t[Am]rust of a c[G]hild.
He said:[A]
"Take my f[D]ive loaves and [Em]two fishes
[G]Do with it [A]as You w[Bm]ill.... [F#m] I su[G]rrender[A]
Take my f[D]ears and my [Em]inhibitions
[G]All my burdens, [A]my ambitions[Bm]
You can [F#m]use it [Em]all to [A]feed them a[D]ll"
I o[C]ften think about that boy [Em7]when I'm feeling small
And I [Am7]worry that the w[G]ork I do means [F]nothing at all[G]
But [C]every single tear I cry is a [Em7]diamond in His hands
And [Am7]every door that sl[G]ams in my face,
I will [F]offer up in prayer
So I'll [Bb]give You every breath that I h[Am]ave
Oh Lord, Y[F]ou can work [C/D]miracles,
[Dm]All You need is my "Am[G]en"[A]
So take my [D]five loaves and [Em]two fishes
[G]Do with it [A]as You [Bm]will.... [F#m] I su[G]rrender[A]
Take my f[D]ears and my [Em]inhibitions
[G]All my burdens, [A]my ambitions[Bm]
You can [F#m]use it [Em] all, I hope it's [A]not too s[D]mall
