Cold Eye - The Cave Singers

Tuning: Standard, Capo on 2nd fret.
Very good song, and easy, as most good songs seem to be. The entire song is made-up of
chords with a little extra bit, which is at the end of the verse in the chorus "you tell
night we are through", just before you say the word "through" and switch to the C chord,
your hand still in the Fmaj7 position, pluck the High E open, then the B with your
finger on the third fret, then pluck the B again with your first/index finger still on
first fret, then go to the C chord. Listen for timing. That and some careful strumming
you're good.
e| [C]0 [Fmaj7] 0 [Am]0
B| 1 1 1
G| 0 2 2
D| 2 3 2
A| 3 0 0
E| 0 0 0
In the [C]cold eyes of criminals, I drank in the wild la[Fmaj7]ughter
Isn't that my laughter that I'm laughing now?[C]
And in the [C]cold eyes a terrible storm reaches with wild th[Fmaj7]under
Isn't that the thunder that I call my home?[C]
But [Am]go tell the night, yo[Fmaj7]u tell the night we are throug[C]h
And [Am]go tell the night, yo[Fmaj7]u tell the night when we are throug[C]h
And in the [C]old dives of parallels, I stirred in the waitress?s [Fmaj7]wonder
Oh what?s the waitress wondering abou[C]t?
And in the [C]old dives of parallels, I stood on a stage of [Fmaj7]tables
Aren?t those the tables I?m diving fro[C]m?
But [Am]go tell the night, yo[Fmaj7]u tell the night when we are throug[C]h
And under [Am]cold candlelight,[Fmaj7] I wait here to be resc[C]ued
And [Am]go tell the night,[Fmaj7] you tell the night when we are throug[C]h
And under [Am]cold candlelight,[Fmaj7] I wait here to be rescue[C]d.
