Be who you are - if it fits in the system
Say what you will - but you might die if they listen
[D]They think in the pol[Dsus4]itics of [D]gasoline and [C]torture
[Em]Please only [F]talk to me [F#]in the dark[F] (repeat)
[Em]Please only [Asus2]talk to me in the da[C7]rk (repeat)
Write what you will - if you write it in a prison
Sing how you feel - but you might die if they listen
They think in the politics of rosaries and chains
CHORUS:
And it's [C9]hard to tell the righ[Am]t from the w[C9]rong[Em]
When the [C9]right is [Am]protecting t[G]he wrong[Em]
Be who you are - but not where there are people
Reality is taught - right and wrong, there is no middle
We think in the policies of money and ourselves
CHORUS
Revision by SBJosselyn@aol.com:
I think the first part of the verse (with the bends before
the em chord) is really the exact same thing as heard on
"Crowing". Its two guitars but i got pretty close by
playing d/c-C-cmaj9-C
d/cx34230 (i play the open e too..)
cmaj9x32430 (e here too)
