Artist: School Of Seven Bells
Album: Alpinisms (Ghostly International 2008)
Song: Chain
Tabbed by witmachine@yahoo.com
I don't know why i haven't been able to tab it, but i finally
figured it out. Initially i would play the piece in standard tuning,
but i found it easier and much more enjoyable to adjust the G string
up a half step to G# and with a capo on the fourth fret.
Ben sometimes plays with a capo so i figured this song with a capo
would work...

My sleep burrows me a chain of monochromatic rooms
that jangles in the day and recalls a samey drone
Day has drawn out from the night, what's been lacking in its wage
reviving eyes that choked the light, with no extraction for the page
chorus (0:46)
I can not seem to remember my dreams lately
drum break (1:16)
bridge (1:31)
If the moon defines the night and illuminates
without direction
could the obscured that steered my life illuminate
its intervention?
instrumental break (2:02)
verse (2:17)
My sleep burrows me a chain of monochromatic rooms
that jangles in the day and recalls a samey drone
Day has drawn out from the night, what's been lacking in its wage
reviving eyes that choked the light, with no extraction for the page
chorus (2:48)
I can not seem to remember my dreams lately
final bridge (3:20)
I fought so long for an explanation, planting
the seeds that took root in my mind explaining
into dust what was a lucid situation
chorus (3:42)
And I can not seem to remember my dreams lately
thanks for putting up with my rendition...
