This was played by Butch Walker on his most recent (winter 09-10) tour, in
combination with I'm a Believer and a few other songs. I watched his hands
and wrote down the chords as I saw them. It was acoustic, so it's very
different from the studio version from '97.

Note: He plays this chord in the chorus, I'm not sure if it's a C or a G or
what, but it's close to a G7 and close to a G/C. Not sure what's up. I've
noted it thusly.
G 320010
Intro: G5
[G5]My sprained ankle is sore from walking on it all day
[G5]Trying to walk off the valium that I had to take
[F5]'Cause I'm a hundred pound mess, and I gu[C5]ess that I should leave you a[G5]lone
[G5]I walk into the place that gave me horrible gas
[G5]They said you moved to New York to teach a cooking class
[F5]But I know that's just a cover up, 'c[C5]ause I still follow you ho[G5]me
Well I'm b[D]eginning to feel just like another spinning wheel
C G
And my shield is finally growing thin
And I g[D]uess I should find another favorite place to dine
C G
Or I'm gonna have to see you again
[G]Don't leave the li[C]ght on for me
[G]You'll just be wa[C]sting sl[D]eep toni[G]ght[D][C][G][D][C]
[G5]It took me six whole years to work off all of the weight
[G5]That I had up on my shoulders trying to be so great
[F5]Now I feel so insecure and I'm n[C5]ot so really sure that I sh[G5]ould
[G5]So here's the hundred-thousand dollars and the seventy cents
[G5]That should buy back all the love and all the time that you spent
[F5]Trying to make this all work, you know I f[C5]eel like a jerk but it's [G5]good
Well I'm b[D]eginning to feel just like another spinning wheel
C G
And my shield is finally growing thin
And I g[D]uess I should find another favorite place to dine
C G
Or I'm gonna have to see you again
