First tab, it's really not hard to learn.
Just figure out the strumming yourself, it's pretty easy.
I'm working on the second guitar part right now- hopefully it'll be up soon.
ALSO: I couldn't figure out the chord name for one of them I was playing, so I named it
(for D hammer on). All you do is play a normal D, and hammer on with your pinky on third
on the e string. Simple enough.
Capo: 3rd fret
INTRO:
Cadd9, G, D, Dh
Cadd9, G, D(let ring)
VERSE:
Well growing[Cadd9] up never made much sense to me
But dea[G]ling with this life I lead
And m[Cadd9]aking oh so many plans
That ne[G]ver seem to come true in the end
And [Cadd9]yeah I know that we were young
But age do[G]esn't mean much when you're truly in love
I'll [Cadd9]hold on to that feeling that I always had
In h[G]opes that one day I will see you [Cadd9]again
I k[G]now that one day I will see you [Cadd9]again
And I'll keep ho[G]lding my breath
CHORUS:
Cadd9 G D Dh
So let's trace those steps back to where we first met
Cadd9 G D Dh
A place I'll never forget cause you and I we can not let
Cadd9 G D Dh
All this space between a perfect you and perfect me
Cadd9 G D(let ring)
It's just so hard to believe that you're gone
VERSE:
I [Cadd9]tried my luck at so many things
I've s[G]een enough joy to make me wanna sing
I've hit the h[Cadd9]ighest of highs, the lowest of lows
Right n[G]ow I'm sick and tired of being alone
And as I [Cadd9]trace those steps, the same very steps
That le[G]ad up to the room where we once slept
I've got this [Cadd9]pain in my chest
Oh this p[G]ain that's too deep to keep tight [Cadd9]lips
Oh so I'll keep ho[G]lding my breath
CHORUS
PRECHORUS:
And[Cadd9] oh my G[G]od, this h[D]urts like hell
And[Cadd9] how am [G]I sup[D]posed to tell myself
That if I [Cadd9]keep on si[G]nging my w[D]ay through this
[Cadd9] [G] [D]
That one da------------y, I'll be fine
[Cadd9] [G] [D]
One da------------y, I'll be fine

THESE PARTS ARE SUNG AT THE SAME TIME. It's played the same as the chorus, but if you
to play and sing to the second part, the timing is off by a few seconds. The words in
are the second voice part.
So I'll trace those steps back to where we first met
A place I'll never forget cause you and I we can't let
All this space between a perfect you and perfect me
It's just so hard to believe that you're gone
You're right here
