(All Fs should be barred)
There's a chord in the chorus that I don't know the name of, but I know it's right. I'm
calling it F/C, and it's fingered like this:
The low E string 1 is optional, and played by the thumb. It's basically a C chord with a
bar over the G and B strings.
Also, in the chorus, there is a C (walkdown). If you listen to the song the guitar
mimics the melody in the "sky high honey" part, which you can do by playing a C chord and
then going:
Alternatively, if you want it to sound bigger, you can go:
[C]Sky [G]high [Am7]hone[G]y, [C]gone.
OK, on to the music.
INTRO: C, Csus4
VERSE:
[C]I bet you're [Em]laughing at some j[F]oke he t[G]old you
[C]With his a[Em]rm around your [F]sunburnt s[G]houlders
[G]I spent the [Em]morning with my [F]face against the [G]windowseat
[G]Looking [Em]down at all the [F]things that got the [G]best of me

F C (walkdown)
No more Cure songs to get lost in
[C]No more taxis, [F/C]subway tokens
F C (walkdown) C
Arms wide open, I'm sky high honey, gone.
VERSE 2 (same chords)
