She [C]heard a plan created by a [G]wicked man
To kill the people [F]of her land upon a coming [C]day.
She [C]rose to say, “Oh let us humbly [G]fast and pray
That the king will [F]keep us safe and let our nation [C]live.”
She [C]spoke the truth though she would be in [G]danger too
For she was sent from [F]God, she knew, for such a time as [C]this.
