Belanova is a Grammy award-winning Mexican pop band that formed in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2000. The group consists of Denisse Guerrero (lead vocals), Edgar Huerta (keyboards, programming) and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola (bass, guitar). Although these are the only three official members, several other musicians perform in the band’s live lineup, most notably Israel "Campanita" Ulloa (drums) and Richo Acosta (guitar). The band was signed to Virus Records, owned by Universal Music, in 2002.
