The intro is played on a sitar and features some random distortion feedback and I think
it's Ross fiddling around with his ebow. I'm really not sure what he's doing there, so
I'll dish out a few notes and stuff for you to play around with and see if you can get the
right sound:

Sitar: (also tuned down, with a harmonizer set on low octave)

E-|----------||---------------------||------------------||
B-|-----14---||----------14-12-14---||------------------||
G-|----14----||'-14-12---14-12-14--'||--14-12-----------|| (to main riff)
D-|---14-----||'-14-12-------------'||--14-12--14---12\-||
A-|--12------||---------------------||---------14---12\-||
E-|-12-------||---------------------||------------------||

Ross using Ebow (might be capoed, but I'm tabbing it without)

This is just pure guesswork, cause it's a little recorded loop that's being played, not
an actual performance.

D-||:---7--h9p7h9p7-/9\2-/9-/11--h12p11h12--/14p12h14--/16 (fade off) - :||

Now's when the song starts... (if you want, you can pick up a little feed back on your
capo 2 guitar using G string (pitch is C))

_______________________________

Here, on your Capo 2 guitar, you dump on a wahwah pedal, a little chorus and flange just
for kicks, and you add a crucial harmonizer that's set for an octave below your playing:

G-||:-12p0-12h14p12p0-:|| (repeated a whole load)

Play this little riff many times, but while you're playing, you can ever so slowly depress
the wahwah and then release, so that you get kind of a phasing effect that switches octaves.
It's definately one of the coolest combination effects that I've ever heard. Do this while
the rhythm guitar strums an A chord every now and then.

Then you pause and wait for the drum loop to finish off and build up a little feedback.
Strum this chord on the quarter notes while hitting the wah pedal every time:

E-|----|
B-|-15-|
G-|-14-|
D-|-x--|
A-|-12-|
E-|----|

And another guitar strums a D5 chord while the 3rd guitar plays this little riff:

G-|-12~~-11~~~-12~~-11~~-14-11-14-12~~-11~~~-12~~-11~~-\-9-7~~-|

_______________________________

The chorus has another nice set of licks to it. Capo 2 guitar is playing a riff while the
other guitars are strumming the chords. Here, you have to switch the octave effect around,
the effect harmonizing an octave ABOVE your playing. Also, the chords played by rhythm have
an echo effect of sorts on them.

D-|-10-10-10--9--7------7~~~--10~~-9-9-7---------------10~~-9-9-7----7~~--------|
A-|-----------------10-------------------10---/5~~~~~-------------10----9~~-10\-|

The solo is the picture perfect combination of wah wah and tremelo picking. The entire solo
is tremelo picked, but he puts different emphasis on certain parts. Also, remember to mute
the other strings with your remaining fingers, cause that not only makes it easier on the
tremelo, but it gives the cool percussive sound that, combined with the wah, makes the solo
what it is :). This transcription is that of their performance on Jay Leno. It's really
cool, but the only problem is that you need a 24 fret guitar to pull it off. If you want to
know when to wah, listen to the CD, cause it's really tough to write that kind of stuff out.
Remember that this is the Capo 2 guitar, so when you're soloing, you should be looking at 2
frets above what's written here. (meaning that you will need 24 frets)

The last time through the chorus, the lead lick has a few changes to it. After each little
phrase, Ross slides up an octave and holds the note. Listen to the CD to see what I mean.

The outro is just the main riff with a little lick added on:

[A]

E-|-----------------------|-----------------------------------------------
B-|-----------14-12-14----|-----------------------------------------------
G-|'-14---12-------------'|--14---12--------------------------------------
D-|'---------------------'|-----------14---12--14-------------------------
A-|-----------------------|------------------------14^--14---12~~~-(hold)-
E-|-----------------------|-----------------------------------------------

and you end on an A chord.
