Thumbing my way .....
by Pearly Jam Necklace
Tabbed from the wet slopes of western Kenya by Richie
'Rich' Herbert for Monsieur Cranefly aka Tall John.
If my guitar is tuned correctly (which I think it is)
then this is played with CAPO 1. Therefore, the D
chord played is technically an E flat, but we don't
need to worry about that. I have simply written a D (E
flat) as a D.
Here is the bass of the thing, to start you rocking.
(Bear this bass in mind when strumming through the D
section.)
Here are the shapes of the chords used in the D
section, and the order in which they are all played.
(I don't know what all the chord names are, so I'll
just make them up.)

The hardest part of this song is the D section, but
once you get it, it's easy. Refer to the bass bit at
the top and then piece it together using the folowing
chords.

NOTE: When I write A6, you can play the A6 add D shape
first and pull off to create a twiddly-dee effect -
but don't over do it mate, you're not Kenny Rogers!
NB. I have had to remove most of the lyrics as requested, but I have put
blanks where the words should be, so print it out and fill them in! Good
luck Pot-pickers!
