If you don't play guitar or keyboard, hit [D]elete now!
I have just reached the point where I can play certain parts of songs without
seeing the TAB, just by listening. I don't always get it right though so if
anyone can play these two songs your comments would be welcome. Thanx.
James.
The Movie
[x8] [x4] E5(palm mute)
e|-------7--0------------|--/9--12--0------------|----------|----------|
B|---/5----------3-5-3---|----------5-----3-5-3--|----------|----------|
G|.---------------------.|.---------------------.|----------|----------|
D|.---------------------.|.---------------------.|----------|----------|
A|-----------------------|-----------------------|-22222222-|-22222222-|
E|-----------------------|-----------------------|-00000000-|-00000000-|
.............cresc.
By the way, do they ever play this live? If anyone can figure out that
wacky slap-bass part that Steven plays on the keyboard then let me know
please. I reckon that this song is in the key of E.
I think I figured out that little slap-bass thing in "The Movie".
I think it goes something like this:
e-------------------------|
B-------------------------|
G------------------------|
D-----2------------------|
A--------5--2---------5---|
E--0------------0--0------|
I transcricribed it on a piano. That should be good enough for gov't
