Sand is one of my favorite Lovemongers (Heart) songs, and I've wanted to learn to play
forever but could never find any tabs. It finally clicked with me and I think I figured
out pretty well. I don't really know the technical names of the chords, but I refer to
as "open". If you listen to the strumming pattern it's easy enough to figure out.
Capo 5
E (022100)
E (079900)
Aadd9 (002200)
B (799800)
E2 (067800)
G (355000) or (355400)
A (577000) or (577600)
E
I asked a distance star, I wonder where you are.
A sh[Aadd9]adow at my door, a friend there is no more.
[E] E Aa[Aadd9]dd9 [E] E[Aadd9] [E] E2
I watched him go to the wind, I close my eyes, good-bye, good-bye my friend .
E
Friends and family are branches of the tree.
She[Aadd9]ltered in the rain, telling me again,
[E] E A[Aadd9]add9 E[E] [Aadd9] E[E]2
No matter how the raindrops run, the world will turn, turn back to the sun, yeah, yeah, yeah.
E Aadd9 E
