Hey, this would be my first tab. These are all the chords to Marie by Kevin Devine. My
apologies for any errors. Enjoy!
Standard tuning, no capo.
(On the first A chord, Kevin does a little hammer on. To do this, start in the Am
position and just hammer on the second fret of the B string)
[A]Marie, you got me th[E]inkin'
Long term and being careful with my [A]drinkin'
And looking [D]forward to my holidays and w[A]eekends
[E]Marie, I love the way you got me [A]thinkin'
[A]But Marie, I'm always [E]workin'
Long drives, bad food, stale air, and such [A]boredom
When I get [D]home, we'll take a trip or just sit around and do [A]nothing
Rent a movie or something
[E]Whatever gets your blood pumpin'
My [A]Marie
[F#m]You're all the pretty [D]music that I [A]need
[F#m]So lay down on that [D]couch and sing for [A]me
(The instrumental is basically the verse, except for the D. On the D, you start out in
normal position, then move the D up two frets, then do a Dm position on the fifth fret.
Then you go back to A and continue as normal.)

[F#m]So lay down on that [D]couch and sing for [A]me
[A]Marie, you got me [E]thinkin'
Long term and being careful with my [A]drinkin'
And looking [D]forward to my holidays and [A]weekends
[E]Marie, I love the way you got me [A]thinkin'[A7]
[E]Marie, I love the way you got me [A]thinkin'
Then, at the end, you do the Am to A hammer on thing three more times, and end on A.
Thanks for reading! I hope this is useful :) Feel free to point out any errors.
