HEEL OVER HEAD - Puddle of Mudd
Standard Tuning, Power Chords used:
[B5] [A5] [E5] [F#5] [C5]
e|-----------------------------------
B|-----------------------------------
G|----4------2------------------5----
D|----4------2-----2-----4------5----
A|----2------0-----2-----4------3----
E|-----------------0-----2-----------
It starts out by strumming B5 about 17x's, then A5 once, quickly to E5 once, then
to F#5 about 17x's (clean). Also, a distorted C5 is hit 7x's. This is the same
pattern in the verses.
1st verse:
[B5]Don't you walk out that door[A5][E5]
Don't [F#5]even pet the dog on the floor
Just t[B5]ake your things in the yard[A5][E5]
And [F#5]throw your keys any[C5]where....(repeat for each verse)
(Pre - Chorus)
[B5]Heel over head
Jet lag s[F#5]ky is painted white again
I'm [B5]heel over head
Leave my [F#5]eyes in the clouds again
(Chorus) - Distorted
[B5]You don't save me [A5] at[B5] [F#5]all
You don't save me at all[B5]
You don't save me [A5] at[B5] a[F#5]ll
You don't save me
Just follow the pattern...it's pretty straight forward.
When he says:
I'm sorry, and I'm sorry you don't See me, Hear me, Touch me, Bring me....
it's the same thing, just palm-mute the strings.
