Chord/Tab song: Granite

Chord,Tablature, lyric, sheet, guitar, ukulele song: Granite - ( This song is remotely simple, but I?m not going to claim ...)

--
This song is remotely simple, but I?m not going to claim that this is the best way of
it. I?ve been dying to play an acoustic version of this for a while, so it?s just a simple
diagram with some fills for emphasis.
Also, apologies for the masses of writing under the chords, they?re basically just
you how I choose to play it ? ignore them if you wish! And sorry if you can?t understand my
of writing this chord structure.. it does make sense, don?t worry. Enjoy :) x

Intro

[Em] [F#]
(I?m sure when you listen to the song you?ll be able to figure out where it changes with
two chords)

(0:26) Em F# (pm)

(0:37) F# (pm)

(I choose to palm mute this bit to emphasise the lead riff, so you don?t have to if you
want to, and if you think that using minor chords works better, I really don?t mind,
is just a base for the notes used!)

(this bit is a little bit hazy because it?s played reasonably fast, so I?m not entirely
if it?s correct - here is the rhythm that I use)

(It works best if you keep up a rhythm with these chords, and any which I?ve put in
you don?t necessarily need to play for it to sound good, they?re just for added effect. And
the verse, you can just use the normal chord shape, because the barrd chords will start
hurt your hands after a while.. but it?s much easier to use them for the chorus!)

You can h[F#]ide your eyes, you can dim the lights, but they are watching[E]
This is a n[F#]ew time, with a different kind, they are the future
The only o[B]ne[A]

This is the f[F#]inal call for the setting sun when they get closer[E]
Now with a f[F#]all from grace, they will be done, the show is over
It?s a new da[B]wn[F#]

Just le[G]ave this place be[F#]hind
I?ll cl[G]ear your bloodshot m[F#]ind
They on[B]ly wanted y[A]our life on dem[B]and
This is a bet[(C)]ter [B]wa[(A)]y[F#]

They are sta[F#]nding by, no time to hide, no meeting half way[E]
You were su[F#]cking life through the needle?s eye, this is a new day
And they have w[B]on[A]

We will sur[F#]render now, or be outdone, left in the open[E]
It?s the co[F#]oling of the risen, they are the future
The fut[B]ure[A][B][F#]

With [F#]all your fears combined, the manifest was refined
I k[F#]now you really tried to understand
This is a new way[F#]

(For the above bit, I just keep repeating the F# since you?d need power chords to get
song perfect)

Outro

(from 3:28) F#

(3:50) F# B E F#

(3:56) A F# A F#

(4:01) B A Ab F#

It?s a new d[B]awn[F#]

Apologies if the outro is wrong, but then you only really need that bit if you?re doing
duet with the lead as well. Thank you, and enjoy! x
