Intro and Verse: played on an acoustic guitar with plastic strings
Whiplash caught the silver son...
The song is realy in Dog man star style, no drums, a lot of piano, and plenty of wierd effects.
I'm ging to transcribe the piano sections so they can be played on a guitar.
Piano 1 : this enters the verse after Bret sings "...and left us here"
for the first time (on the "here" to be precise)
there are variations afterwards that are not so hard to hear,
so figure them out for yourself
Piano thingy 2 : enters after the second "...and left us here"
[G]
[Cm]
[G]
Piano thingy 3 : I'm gonna tab it for an octave down,
because it's easier to play it that way
[G]
[Cm]
[F]
[G]
these appear many times in the song, each time variated, so I tabbed an "inbetween" version
Bridge: electric w/ distortion and palm muting
C5, E5, G5, G5, x2
Chours: C, Cmaj(arppegio on this one, high to low),
(palm muting and distort.)G5, G5,
Outro: G,G,G,G,F,C,G,G, x2
Outro solo:
[G]
[F] [C]
Bare end: an explosion sound and wacky piano sample that's impossible to play on a guitar
The song by itself is not so complicated, but tabbing it was preaty hard and complicated.
I hope it won't confuse you. :)
