Out of the Shadows, by Iron Maiden (written by Dickinson/Harris) The sixth song from
latest album to date "A Matter of Life and Death".
I havn't really had time to tab the entire song, so I thought I'd just list the main
as these are basically repeated in one guise or another throughout. I'm doing this because
fun to hammer along to, uses some very common progressions that are easy to play, and
be developed in many ways.
It's a beautiful song in terms of both lyric and music, written about personality and
sanctity of birth. It highlights Iron Maidens' maturing (and still blindingly good)
talents, with the embellishments over the rhythm section and especially the solo,
dashes of warmth and colour. Excellent song.
INTRO
[A5] [E5] [C5] [G5] [D5][A5][F5][C5][D5]
VERSE
[Em] [G] [Em][G]
[Em] [G] [D][Asus2]
CHORUS
[E5] [C5] [D5][A5]
Please note that when the intro section is repeated later in the song, it is played 2
higher up.
