I noticed that there are almost literally no chords/tabs for The Eames Era, which is
extremely disheartening. I will try to make some.
I'm a novice guitar player, so a few chords might be off/missing, but something is
better than nothing. This sounded fine to me when I played it.
Capo 2
Intro
G (x16) A
[D] [F#m] [Em] [F#m]
[D]And I don't mind
[F#m]That everything's a m[Em]ess right now
[A]I could care less
[D]And ideally
[F#m]That a bit of h[Em]arm never hurt
[A]Anyone
[D]I've plotted out a r[F#m]oute to take us into a p[Em]lace kinda like
Where we're n[A]ow
[D]Except this time I t[F#m]hink you're gonna need a p[Em]air of mittens for
The frozen a[A]ir
[G]I will gladly
[A]Navigate things
[D]You look out for sharp ro[G]cks
But I do believe I've fo[A]und that elusive Bering Str[G]ait
And if you'd l[A]ike to we could...
[D] [F#m] [Em] [F#m]
[D]So we'll sit there
[F#m]And stare into thin [Em]air
Light that match
Now watch it fl[A]are
[D]And kiss hello
[F#m]To a ground laid with s[Em]now
Where nothing's left
But frozen a[A]ir
[D]There won't be any g[F#m]reen I fear on trees or e[Em]ven below
Our frozen to[A]es
[D]But the tundras match the cl[F#m]ouds at night and on a cl[Em]ear day you can see
Next Saturd[A]ay
[G]Build our home
[A]Out of snow
[D]From the first glacier we fi[G]nd
But I do believe I've fa[A]llen
Into a nasty cre[G]vice
Laced with i[A]ce so now what?
[D] [F#m] [Em] [F#m]
