NB: You could just use barre chord shapes throughout the whole song.
I like to mix them with some first inversion chords too, just to add variety,
with some open strings ringing, particularly the top E.
I think the barre Csus2 is actually the correct chord throughout, but if choosing
to use first inversion shapes too, I just think a Cadd9 sounds better when
playing in that particular position.
Near the end of the choruses I make the Dsus2 a D major,
as I think that adding the F# note back in helps that ascending progression
on the top string.
