this is a really fucking good song written by Gavin Rossdale. A lot of
you people had requested it so I did my best at this song. The riff to
this song is really cool. It really isn't that hard so here it is
chords used for this song:
guitar parts:
notations:
~vibrato
hhammer on
xmute
this is the intro riff #1
riff #2
while on guitar plays that intro riff, another plays this little slide part
throughout the verse, the bass simply plays
(work with it)
at about .37 seconds into the song at the words, "will you....."
the guitar strums a G-chord and goes into a slight variation of riff #2
at about .57 seconds into the song at the words, "wash the...."
the guitar strums a G-chord, then strums an A-chord, a B-chord, a C-chord,
and a D-chord. the progression is G-A-B-C-D (with one strum for each
chord)
XXXXXXXXX-----for the words "will you come again....",
the guitar plays this at about 1.07 (and other places)
the chords are right, just work with the strumming pattern
then, at about 3.10 minutes into the song an E1-G-A progression is played
then, at about 3.42 minutes into the song an A-G-E1 progression is played
then a solo comes, you could use the A-minor penatonic scale in the 5th
position for the "psuedo solo"
lyrics
hush child - lay your sweet lips on me
this greed - bigger than you and me
will you come again
body
tongue tied and visceral third degree
feel warm - center of gravity
wash us all away
body never lies
will you come again
will we stay friends
oh you paralyze
there are times when i wish
that i was you
thick skinned - cities you drive me though
better than me - you're a woman
seven days and my system is free again
we rise - lose it on oblivion
falling away - sorry for the way
your child is on fire
lick these my ruby lips
drop your protein pills
better just to lose yourself
we kiss we kiss we kiss
pretty words could never say
will you come again
any questions, requests, comments, suggestions, corrections, or anything
else (like thank you notes), just e-mail me (OllieOne@aol.com)
this tab might seem kind of cryptic because of how confusing i made it,
but it really isn't, all the chords and parts are correct, just find out
where they go and how many times to play them, have fun
note: don't forget, when you download it, print it out in NOTEPAD in
windows or else it will come out messed up
message: when i do this tab, it is because i am trying to help people out
and i enjoy it, i don't claim to be correct on anything, so i would
aprecciate it that if i got something wrong, don't be a prick about it,
just e-mail me and i will happily fix it, like i fix my version of little
things (which i tabbed out a step higher that it is really played)
thank you and enjoy the tab
oh.....i also figured out the beginning of monkey! i listened to a live
bush album and i figured it out from there, i will work on the rest
and post it later

This is a really good song that is made kind of difficult by the many fills. The rhythm is kind of tricky as well. I tried to tab out the rhythm as best I could. Listen to the CD and do the best you can.
Guitar 1 begins playing this
Riff 1
Then Guitar 2 jumps in playing this
Fill A
Then comes a bass solo. An A chord is thrown in and then a G chord. Then in goes back to riff 1 with this fill
Fill B
More bass solo. Another A chord. Then comes a G-A-B-C-D Chord progression. Followed by this fill over riff 1
Fill C
Chorus
then this fill is played over Riff 1
Fill D ( really fast )
B-5~-7~-8~-10~-13131313/14141414/15151515/16161616/17171717/
Then the verse is repeated and then play the chorus. At the end add this riff
Riff 2
Then play this riff
Riff 3
Followed by this riff
Riff 4
Over Riff 3 play this fill once
Fill E
Then comes the solo (really fast) (really fast)
Somewhere over the solo this fill is played followed by a pick slide
Fill F(or something like this)
Then back into riff 1 followed by a F# chord. Then back into the chorus.
That's it. Enjoy!
